Class Visits
Amerton Farm (Rec)
We had a fabulous visit to the farm and all 3 classes thoroughly enjoyed their time spent learning about different transport and animals.
We found out why tractors are so important to the farmers and got to enjoy a bumpy ride around the farm, then we measured ourselves against the enormous tyres!
We spotted the railway and train and looked through the window to spot a 'gaggle of geese' and 'cows lying down'... just like in our story 'The Train Ride'. We had fun exploring the diggers in the sand area and did lots of scooping and shovelling before bouncing as high as we could on the inflatable pillow! We ended our day in the indoor play area, where we got the chance to climb and slide with our friends. We tested out our driving skills through steering our little cars around the village... we drove past the post office, the village hall and the bakery.
