Class Visits

Year 1 have had a wonderful week visiting Appletree Town in Chesterton.

We were able to see all the buildings that we have in our local area and actually pretend that we worked in them. We worked for the post office delivering letters and parcels, we served customers in the local supermarket and cafe. The teachers got their hair and make up done in the beauty salon and the emergency services were there with their ambulance for any accidents!

The road area was also a popular area with cars, petrol stations, building sites and garages to make sure that Appletree Town keeps moving. It gave some of us ideas for when we are older- maybe we have some budding actors, nurses, teachers and mechanics amongst us!
