It was the experience of a lifetime for the 35 children from 5and 5JB that took to international travel in February. With passports at the ready, we headed down to Dover and crossed the channel aboard the ferry. Finally, we arrived at the sensational Dream Castle where we settled in and were treated to the best buffet we have ever had! On our day in Paris, we experienced the sights and sounds of this phenomenal city, getting stuck into the hustle and bustle. Whilst there, we travelled up and down the River Seine taking in the breath-taking views. After that, we visited the legendary Eiffel Tower, standing underneath and looking right up to the top! Our views of Paris are something we will never forget.
Two days of the most fun were also had as we headed to… Disneyland! We experienced everything we could on the first day: Spider-Man, Avengers, Slinky Dog, Cars Tour and some of us even took to the legendary Tower of Terror (Hollywood Tower)! On our second day, we took to the main park to experience the iconic Disney Castle. There were so many amazing rides on this day too: Hyperspace Mountain, Star Wars simulator, Dumbo, the flying rockets and Pirates of the Caribbean. Again, we stuffed ourselves full of the most delicious food that Disneyland had to offer. On board with us this time was our special guest traveller Jean Claude – Reception sent him on holiday to his native France to experience everything that he has missed! He was a hit with the Year 5 children as much as Reception missed him!
France, Paris and Disney… you were the best! These memories will live with us forever!
