National Space Centre (Y5)
An out-of-this-world trip that we will not forget in a hurry.
This half term, Year 5 have learnt all about space. After many lessons in the classroom, we had to visit the wonderful National Space Centre for yet another day out and about! We climbed over 100 steps to the top of the space centre to take in the full view of the amazing rocket that is housed there. We got to experience the fantastic Planetarium, learning all about how an astronaut survives in space in an immersive 3-D world! We learnt all about Tim Peake, we got to explore each of the planets up-close and personal and had an amazing time learning through our experiences.
