The Roaches (Y6)
The children explored two local areas, firstly the beauty of the Roaches and then Tittesworth Water to understand the impact of damage to our natural environment.
Year 6 journeyed around the reservoir to understand the way that humans use our natural environment. They discussed the local water levels, the impact on the economy and local area and the tree felling occurring in the area.
They also then went to climb the Roaches, learning about the geological history, scrambling over the boulders to reach the top and take in views of the physical geography.
