Creswell Crags (Y3)

Year 3 visited the historical site of CRESWELL CRAGS in Worksop.

They explored a Stone Age cave to see how it was used as a shelter and tried out survival techniques, including spear throwing for meat and building their own shelter out of wood and animal skin. They were able to show off all of the prehistoric knowledge they have learnt from school regarding The Stone Age! Also, as part of their Science topic of 'Rocks, Soil and Fossils', the children were able to classify a range of rocks. Who knew 7/8-year-olds had so much knowledge about Sedimentary, Metamorphic and Igneous rocks!!!! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! #crescentlearners #prehistoric
