Chester (Y4)
Wow! What an experience we had! For our trip this time, we travelled to Chester to the Dewa Roman Experience Centre as we were conscripted into the Roman Army.
We met a Roman legionary, who happily showed us around Roman Chester and showed us what we would have eaten (mainly dormice!), where the baths were and what the toilet situation was! We then grabbed our shields and marched through the streets of Chester shouting 'Sin, Sin, Sin, Dexter, Sin' as everyone stopped to see us pass. We then got into battle formation and practiced our skills under the instruction of our general. We absolutely loved the experience and are now fully-fledged Roman recruits!
