Class Visits

We all strive for the top at Crescent and, this half term, Year 5 reached the summit!

This half term, Year 5 travelled to The Roaches, in the Peak District, as part of our Geography unit, learning all about mountains. We love to start our learning in the local area (which we did when we went tubing at the start of the term!) and, having learnt all about peaks and mountain ranges, we decided to visit the Roaches. We had great fun getting in our steps as we travelled along the lowland and upland areas of the environment, making it to one or two summits as we went. We even had time to stop off at Doxey Pool to hear the spooky tale of Jenny Greenteeth!
