Go Ape (Y6)
Year 6 had a fantastic day on their recent trip to Go Ape in Cannock!
The children took on the treetop course with enthusiasm, climbing, balancing and zip-lining their way through the forest. It was wonderful to see everyone supporting each other as they tackled the different challenges high above the ground.
All of the children showed incredible bravery, pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones and conquering fears along the way. Their determination and resilience were truly impressive, and it was lovely to see the sense of pride on their faces as they completed the course.
The experience reminded us of Sophie in our Love of Reading class book, Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell, as she bravely clambers across the rooftops of Paris in search of adventure. Just like Sophie, our pupils showed courage, perseverance and a real sense of adventure.
A huge well done to all of Year 6 for their positive attitude and teamwork!
