What better way for the children to understand what life was really like for children during the war than to show them.
The children adventured off to Consall to experience how the war impacted children. An air raid siren sounded and the children were off, travelling first by steam train to thee countryside and then by foot to where they would stay overnight. They played war time games, listened to Vera Lynn and sat around the camp fire roasting marshmallows and singing campfire songs. An experience to remember!
