Class Visits
Tanglewood (Y2)
Year 2 visited Tanglewood at Cannock Chase and had an amazing time discovering the varied landscapes.
While there we looked at habitats and the animals that could live there on the Chase. We went on a bug hunt to find some smaller animals and had an opportunity to build new homes animals.
We also worked on our communication and sensory skills to guide a blindfolded partner around a walk, which required lots of good directions and trust.
We finished our day by making plaster casts of animal tracks- which we have added to our Science display back at school. The sun shone for most of us and we had a fantastic time!
